ISR is a highly effective childhood drowning prevention program that has achieved National
and Worldwide recognition. With over 40 years of experience and established on the principles
of health care, psychology/behavioral sciences, anatomy and physiology, amongst others, it is
the only method to have earned a 100% safety record to date.
With over 6 million lessons imparted and more than 177,224 babies who have learned water safety skills, ISR has 788 documented cases of children who used these skills to safe themselves.
Through this National program, even very young children can learn the skills to be safe and effective in the water. The ultimate goal is to make each student an “aquatic problem solver.”
During the highly individualized program students will be broken into two categories:

These lessons take place every day from Monday thru Friday and run for 4-6 weeks, depending
on the student. Each session is taught on a One-On-One basis and will last no longer than 10
minutes.
Researchers conclude that during this concentrated period of time, the attention span of a child is captured and their physical and emotional learning intensified, thus providing a safe and solid learning foundation.
